Louis Cooper was a determined South African team tournament bass angler back in 2013. He identified that, over time, the simple fact that “if you’re not getting hung up, you’re not fishing hard enough” meant losing a lot of expensive jigs.
He began making his own custom jigs to keep costs down. As other anglers noticed the results, demand grew — and Go Fish Bait Company (GFBC) was founded in 2015.
Today GFBC focuses on high-quality, affordable baits with custom paint jobs available for anglers who want something unique on the end of the line.
